The same media file can play on one device and fail on another because devices and applications support different containers, codecs, resolutions, audio layouts, and software versions. The extension may look familiar on both systems, but it does not describe every technical feature inside the file.
Confirm that it is truly the same file
Compare filename, size, duration, and location. A cloud placeholder is not the same as a fully local copy. A transfer to the second device may have stopped early. Open file information and confirm that the copy is complete before investigating codec support.
